## v0.3.111 — hotfix ### Fixed: PostToolUse hook panic that silently dropped telemetry `post_observe::check_duplicate` sliced the observation-log tail at a raw byte offset that could land inside a multi-byte UTF-8 character (box-drawing '═', printed constantly by agent panes), panicking the hook. Because the hook exits 0 while panicking, Claude Code reported only a non-blocking failure and the counterfactual observation was silently dropped on affected tool calls. The tail start now snaps to a char boundary. Regression test included. Upgrade recommended for all installs. ### Install / update ```bash precc update # or: curl -fsSL https://peria.ai/install.sh | bash ```
